If diarrhea, could a med be the cause? Or something he eats?

For chronic D talk to the doc about adding a probiotic to his med regime. Worked wonders for my mom!

My husband and I are his care givers. We obviously do not let in Live in feces. My question was simply is there any way to prevent him from soiling his clothes? Underwear are one thing but his shirt and outer pant are another story. Usually it happens during the night. I guess I know the answer, No there isn't anyway!

I found the pull-ups don't work for my dad during the night. I use the overnight diapers (with tabs). Some people also use waterproof pants over the pull-ups.

I might be able to give a better answer with a little more information.

You sound frustrated. I don’t blame you. It’s an awful mess to have to deal with. And, believe me - I’ve thrown out a fair share of otherwise perfectly good clothing myself!
