I need to stop him from frivolous spending when we need the cash for Mae Volen private pay day care for his issue. Already have a POA.

Suzanne, you mentioned you already have Power of Attorney. Is this POA for both medical and financial? If yes, then you can take over the financials since your hubby isn't making good decisions with money.

You could try setting up a budget if you think hubby can pay attention long enough to understand it. What type of frivolous spending is he doing? You could try to give your husband an allowance. Or have a check book where both of you need to sign the check if the dollar amount is over a certain amount.
