T score of minus 4.3. I only get$90 SSI but Medicaid pays my Medicare premium and my medical costs. My daughter has a room and bathroom for me to live with her so she can care for me, she is a nurse but I'm worried I will lose my Medicaid. Any info appreciated.

If you pay your daughter rent, you may be able to justify the extra money. I’m not sure how this works but I do know folks on SSI get more if they are paying rent.
Sorry about the osteoporosis diagnosis. I’m glad you have your daughter. Hugs

You won’t lose your Medicaid. They won’t count your daughters income when determining your eligibility. The only thing that may be affected is your SSI because that is based on household income so I would be prepared to lose your SSI. You may lose it.

Do your mean Social Security or Supplimental income? If you mean SS this will not be effected and ascsaid Medicaid is based on your income. If Supplimental income, then yes that will be effected. You really need to call your Social Service office where you receive these benefits.

considering she said she gets $90 a month SSI, I believe she meant what she said. She gets SSI. In addition to her social security disablility. There’s no way she would be getting $90 a month in regular SS or disability.

You’ll lose your SSI, your daughters income as a nurse is going to make you ineligible. You won’t lose your Medicaid, Medicaid is based on YOUR income alone.

I know people who get SSD and SSI and live with people who make good money and they got to keep their Medicaid. I don't think it should be a problem for you to keep your Medicaid.

I don't see why you would lose Medicaid, what makes you think you would lose it?

I think the OP was under the impression that like SSI, the total household income would be used to determine her Medicaid eligibility.

That is what I'm worried about. If I lose my SSI, don't that mean I lose my medicaid, even if I'm considered terminal? I have to be a inpatient occasionally when I get pneumonia or my COPD flares up and the bill is expensive. Without my medicaid I couldn't pay it, but it's not safe for me to live alone now either. It's very troubling.
I am 67 years old and I have Lupus, thyroid cancer and COPD and now my DEXA scan shows severe osteoporosis. I'm falling apart.
