If an elderly person is moving furniture out what is the alternative ways, what would be his body position and what are the techniques of shifting furniture without putting himself in conditions to fall?

The most logical thing is that a person that is a fall risk should not be moving furniture. That said, I have been known to try to carry a kitchen table to the basement (I did take it apart!) but I did stop when I envisioned myself being pulled down the stairs while trying to "save" the table.
About all you can do is TRY to convince this person to call someone to help out if they need something done that they should not do by themselves.
I wait to change light bulbs for fear that I will fall off a ladder. (I hate ladders)

There are "movers" that you can put under furniture legs that make it very easy to push a large piece across a room. But if this person rearranges furniture a lot they are not something you should keep under the legs because it can make a piece of furniture move to easily and that might cause a fall if a chair moved as someone was trying to sit down. And because the "mover" has to be placed under the leg of the furniture it is difficult for 1 person to do, lift the corner and slide the "mover" under the leg.
