Any/all Memory Care ALFs provide housing for couples. Just look online for "Memory Care Assisted Living" in your town or go to the right of this page and click on "Find Care & Housing" "Memory Care" in your zip code and the results will come up.
When I worked at a Memory Care ALF, we had a doctor couple who lived together in a 1 bedroom suite; they both had Alzheimer's and they were the sweetest couple ever. They had both practiced medicine together before they retired, and it was sad they both were diagnosed with AD at the same time, too.
For recommendations, join Nextdoor.com and ask people in your community if they have insights into any local facilities. You will gets lots of responses.
Also, do not assume that they will get a price break since they're a couple and may be charged per person, so make sure you ask.
Call around to facilities that you have heard good things about. Go tour them. Ask questions. Each facility will want to do a separate assessment of mom and dad. Don't expect a discount because one kind of helps care for the other.
