Could be end stage? Are there any changes in her medication? Has she been seen by her doc yet - maybe for blood work, etc.?

Or maybe it is just time?

WillyB, it is not unusual for anyone who is in their 90's, with or without dementia, to sleep a lot more. At that age they are just plain tired, they have had a really long life.

I remember reading that for every birthday, it's like adding on another 10 years. Not much energy left [I know there are exceptions].

She is old, she is tired. My mother is 94, very slight dementia, lives alone, still drives, pays her own bills, and more....yes, she does sleep more.
