My stepsister has my dads POA and is making bad health care decisions for him. I need to see the wording in this document but she is not going to show it to me. I am possibly named as 2nd on this document but I was never given one.

You don't get to see it, only the MD or the bank or the nursing home sees it. Now if you think she is doing a bad job, you hire a lawyer and go to court to have her removed by a Judge. Bring hard proof she is negligent.

Talking with an elder law attorney in your state could give you several options to obtain the information you need, starting with low cost, conciliatory approaches, and ranging up to more expensive formal legal solutions.

I agree that you should contact an elder law attorney. Since the document is a health care power, it may not be recorded anywhere for you to see. You should confirm that at least the medical personnel have seen the document. It is surprising how often someone will be given authority by simply saying they have a power of attorney, and never having to prove it.
