My husband is disabled his oldest sister is his POA the other day someone knocked at our door stuck a letter in it I went and got out from the housing authority when I opened it I about went off.

A 24 notice concerning our rent no one took care of eviction procedings would start I should of never made him head of household which caused me to lose my Section 8 he now has.

He calls her I have to tell what s going on she did come like she said on yesterday morning got letter I was on needles and pins mad well way later in the morning asked hubby she would take care of it his phone ring which I feel was her had to been, later yesterday afternoon she comes.

He goes out I m looking out the window she had him sign something well after she leaves he comes in I asked him everything alright yes what were you signing he said something did not understand he told me at first check got lost in the mail then it was the housing authoritys fault I am thinking like someone said check bounced.

Now we have direct television he pays that bill and yes its been cut off he s sneaky very intimidated of her we need a television for our bedroom I have an antenna which she lied said she was going to get, she cannot be trusted not reliable I do not like people wont to fool around with bills and cannot be affording to where maybe due to her the rent get evicted.

My daughter is 26 and special needs I think our Section 8 worker said I could reapply for my Section 8 hubby would not do what was necessary for me to get it back I need to email her to be sure.

I trying to find out if the rent check did bounce if anyone knows what I can do let me know we have a new manger our 5th one here I have never seen her I saw 2 women that day letter was stuck in door not sure if one was her.

I would suggest that you and your husband attend a meeting with an Elder Law Attorney and have another family member or a paid fiduciary assigned to pay your bills.

Can you change her from being POA? Could you be the primary one? It sounds as though she will bring you more problems if she is not doing an adequate job and is not reliable. I am POA for my mother and my husband and I are primary for each other but we also have our grown children listed should that be necessary. You need to be able to rely and have faith in the person with POA for your needs.

Hello and thank you for your answer I went and got to be his payee what she do comes gets him they give it back to her hubby is just so intimidated of her and believes everything she says wont stand and speak up to her.

I got over being where I would not say what I have to but I am not a drama type like to start stuff but you keep pushing me I l say look out its like I do something here she comes along again hubby like he is I m fed up I wish I had money tomorrow to hopefully find me and my daughter somewhere to move I stay stressed and worried.

I am going to try and look when I feel like it I have a list of places and true you should be able to trust her I sure do not and after that rent issue that check was posted to the account same day 24 hour notice concerning eviction procedures we could of moved in September she brings up the steps neighborhood bad neighborhood store to far away him and my daughter both have seizures diffirent kinds daughter came in from day support with them today she s now sleep I m so tired.

I stayed mad at him 16 days sure did was hard but did I got to reapply for my Section 8 all to it we are never to me going to get to move nothing his fear of her thank you again.
