My mom who is 95 suffers from vascular dementia. Just under 3 weeks ago she had a mini stroke. By the 4th day she stems to be improving then was experiencing servers pain in her back. She was examined and X-rays etc were done. They found nothing. Thru have gotten her pain under control.
Fasr forward to 5 days they tell me she had series
mini strokes in a row and they deemed her end of life, at this point she had completely stopped eating 3 days earlier. We are now at day day nine and she’s aware, remembering things, walking some and eating a little. I’m grateful this, Bit I’m scared this rally will end quickly. Has anyone experienced this with a sudden decline again?
It's a phenomenon that no one really understands, so no one really can answer that.
I'm sorry 😔
