The in-home children's daycare is all day and 5 days per week. The owner is a "licensed caregiver." Do you need a separate license for elder care?

Find Care & Housing
What is the elder like? What are the dementia symptoms? Does she just adore having young children around? Does he look forward to the children's snack time? Is she grumpy, aggressive, using inappropriate language? Sweet-temptered, always humming and singing? Can the caregiver really pay attention to the number of children there, plus the elder?

I can think of a million different scenarios. Some of them would be pleasant. Many of them would not. It is hard to answer this question without knowing a lot more about the situation.

In the state of California is care for more than 1 unrelated adult in yor home then it is the same as a children's day care. If the elder is alert and orientated then having then in the home while children are there might and I stress might not be so bad but really, Can you give the best care to either. I agree with jeanne, there is a lot of unanswered questions. I'm not so sure I would leave my children in the home.
