Elder parents were involved in a vehicle accident. What resources are available for an elder couple to help them navigate the process etc?

Find Care & Housing
What process ? Calling the insurance company ? If they can’t manage that call on their own, they shouldn’t be driving.

I have to agree, thats you. Its just a matter of calling the insurance company and giving them the details. If police were called in there should be a report with everyones info. If they have a local agent, maybe they will be willing to help them.

Teriteri2008, welcome to the forum. Please take a few minutes and fill out your Profile page, that will give us a better idea of the situation. Such as your parents' ages?

Was the accident the other driver's fault? Was the accident your Dad's or Mom's fault?

First things first, have your parents call their auto insurance agent. The agent can guide them through all the steps.

If you think they were at fault and if there are any injuries, I’d get a lawyer first. Or if they were injured and it’s not their fault.

They should contact their insurance company.
They will guide them. I hope there were no injuries.
