I have a feeling the cancer has maybe spread as she has a bulging lump in her throat. Tonight she was confused and saying night night everyone I enjoyed myself . They treated me good . She looked dreadful yesterday worse I seen her but today had a brighter colour . But I've a feeling it's a case of days left could I be wrong?

I know I just wanted people's opinions on if it's days till end of life. Completely different sorry if that offends you

Sparkle, in the other posting you had mentioned "Tonight she was saying stuff like night night everyone . I enjoyed myself", and you were also asking about end of life.

Have you asked Hospice about this? They are very good at pin pointing a time frame.

Sparkle, nobody on a forum can tell you if your dear mom has only days left to live, or if she has months or weeks left. Only God has that answer. If she's on hospice care in the hospital, her RN should have a much better idea of how long she has left; those nurses see patients all day long every day and get a much better feel for how long they have left when they are terminal and at the end of their journey.

Here is a timeline on things to look for at end of life:

I know how difficult this whole situation is; I went through it myself with both of my parents; dad in 2015 and mom this past February. It's nerve wracking, to say the least, and my heart goes out to you. The not knowing is so hard, too.......wondering when they will drift away and finally be at peace and out of pain. Sending you a big hug and a prayer that your mom is released from her body with no more pain & suffering so she can move to the next phase of her eternal life where she can dance & be free once more.
